Updated Guidelines for Using WorldFengur Home Registry.

As we start the new year, it’s important to review and update your records in the WorldFengur home registry.

The latest guidelines from the Icelandic Agricultural Advisory Centre (RML) on using the WorldFengur home registry are now available on their website. This is a great opportunity to ensure everything is in order regarding registrations and information.

Key Points to Check:
Recording Breeding Results: Have all mares that were bred to stallions in the summer of 2024 been recorded, and have stallion owners confirmed the registrations?
Foal Registrations: Are all foals born in 2024 properly registered in the database?
Marking Geldings: Have you marked the geldings that were castrated in 2024? Note that while some veterinarians handle these registrations, not all do.
Recording Horse Outcomes: Have all outcomes, such as horses sold, exported, or deceased, been documented?
Ownership Transfers: Are there any pending ownership transfers that need to be finalized?
Color Registration: Is the color information for all horses accurate?
Naming Horses: Have names been added to the horses that have been named?
Caretaker Information: Are caretakers registered

for all horses?
Important Deadline for Foal Registration
Ensure that all foals are registered and microchipped by March 1 to maintain compliance with WorldFengur requirements.

If you have any questions, assistance is available from RML by phone at +354 516-5000 or via email at rml@rml.is.
