ORIGIN OF “ALENDIS”
The name Alendis reflects a profound connection to the timeless art of horsemanship.
Before adopting this identity, the company and project went through various names, including LH TV, which it was called during its early years from 2014.
The turning point came when founders Gudjon and Anna sought a name that captured the essence of their vision.
Inspired by the classical text On Horsemanship (Περὶ ἱππικῆς) by Xenophon, they looked to its Latin title, De Equis Alendis, meaning "On the Care of Horses." From this, the name Alendis was born—a symbol of the harmonious blend of tradition, care, and innovation that drives the company.
